John Howard's Tracksuit

John Howard was widely known for wearing a green and gold Wallabies tracksuit on his regular morning walks as prime minister. He was always accompanied by a security detail provided by the Australian Federal Police and was sometimes joined by a sporting hero or another world leader. 

The tracksuit highlights Howard's allegiance to Australia, his commitment to all Australian sport and the importance of physical fitness to personal well-being. This tracksuit was predominantly worn in 2003 on visits to New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
